UK public sector productivity has been stagnant for three decades.

Costs have risen. Demand has intensified. Productivity is now the central test of fiscal sustainability and service reform.

Artificial intelligence is increasingly presented as the solution.

The Office for Budget Responsibility estimates that effective AI adoption could unlock up to £41 billion annually.

Yet current AI investments remain stuck at individual time-saving — assistants drafting emails faster or summarising documents. Capturing the real benefits will require structural change, not incremental efficiency.

The sector is increasingly pointing to a different approach: agentic AI.

Autonomous, goal-oriented systems capable of coordinating workflows across data, tools, and teams. But departments, teams, and leaders don't know where to start.

Drawing on original research with the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Clarasys, and the University of Cambridge, this webinar features Gabriel O'Brien, Elsewhen Researcher, sharing a practical blueprint for public sector leaders ready to move beyond experimentation.

You'll learn:

- Findings from our research with DSIT, DESNZ, the Tony Blair Institute, and the University of Cambridge
- What makes agentic systems a step-change for public services
- Our TRIAL framework for identifying high-leverage AI use cases
- How to navigate legacy technology, data readiness, and governance without waiting for perfect conditions
- A four-phase roadmap from opportunity identification to value measurement

Who should attend: Leaders across central government, local authorities, and arm's-length bodies — whether you're starting your AI journey or moving from pilots to scale.
