Use this workshop to discover high‑impact AI agents

Talk of AI agents is everywhere — but much of it is agentswashing: rebranding simple automations or chat interfaces as “agents.” These tools summarise emails or manage calendars, but they don’t actually plan, decide, or act independently. Useful? Sure. Transformational? Not as much.

The real opportunity lies behind the scenes — in the agentic workflows that keep organisations running and unlock entirely new levels of productivity.

This is what we call the agentic enterprise — organisations where intelligent agents work across departments to coordinate tools, automate processes, and enable adaptive, continuous improvement. Agentic AI can orchestrate tasks, connect systems, and handle operational work that previously took hours of human effort — all while adapting dynamically to new inputs and goals.

This evolution — from isolated tools to a network of connected agents — is where lasting transformation happens. And that’s exactly what our Agentic Opportunities Workshop is designed to unlock.

You can explore the framework yourself to start spotting agentic opportunities right away — or book a call with us for a guided, one-hour session where your team will identify a strong agent use case and walk away with a working prototype.

First things first: what is Agentic AI?

Agentic AI is software that can plan, decide, and adapt to achieve an objective. Rather than following a fixed set of steps, agents figure out how to complete the work using the tools and data you provide — and adjust when context changes.

It’s different from purely generative AI. Generative models create content (text, images, code). Agentic systems decide what to do next, call tools via APIs and MCPs (model context protocols), verify outputs, and keep going until the job is done or human review is needed.

In short: stop thinking about adding AI into a process and start thinking of AI as the process.

Five principles to spot strong agentic opportunities

If you’re aiming for meaningful, sustainable impact (not just novelty), look for work that is:

1
Repetitive
Patterned, high‑frequency tasks are ideal. If it’s boringly predictable, it’s probably agentic.
2
Time‑consuming
Seemingly “fine but slow” activities that compound across teams. Agents turn hours into minutes without cutting corners.
3
Clear data
Clear inputs, expected outputs, and access to systems via APIs or structured records. No data, no agent.
4
Tedious
Form‑filling, reconciling, logging, scheduling. Free people from drag; keep humans for judgement and relationships.
5
Low‑risk
Begin where consequences are limited. Prove value quickly, then scale into adjacent, higher‑value flows.

As we explore in Planet Agent: AI Agents Across Industry, the same underlying shift is already reshaping how entire sectors operate — from finance and logistics to healthcare, HR, media and the public sector. Across all industries, these principles apply.

The key is knowing where to start — and that’s exactly what the workshop helps you do.
